ShipConnect, a service of Ameri-Connect Freight Services is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we design with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in mind.

Measures in place

A “skip to content” link and consistent page landmarks.
Keyboard-operable navigation and interactive controls, with visible focus and focus management in dialogs.
Keyboard shortcuts with an on-screen help overlay.
Respect for the “reduce motion” system preference.
Attention to colour contrast and readable typography.
Automated accessibility linting as part of our build process.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task. Some older forms and internal tools are still being brought fully in line with our standards, and we continue to test and improve. We are honest that conformance is a target we work toward continuously, not a guarantee that every page is flawless today.
